A few weeks ago we spent a weekend in Pawley's Island with one of my best friends, Townsend, and her family! They were gracious enough to invite us down for the long weekend, and, to top it off, we got to bring Gus with us! We were really wanting to get him to the beach at some point this summer while he is still a puppy so this worked out perfectly! Townsend has a golden retriever, Sully, that is 6 months old and her parents have a golden retriever, Bailey, that is about 2 years old, so we had a house full of Goldens to make for a weekend full of fun!
We hit the road Thursday afternoon after work. Adam and Gus weren't thrilled with the selfie idea.
He had no idea what kind of fun was in store for him!
He slept just like this in Adam's lap for several hours!
Gus had a playdate with Sully the very first weekend we brought him home and also got to spend a whole weekend with her while we were on vacation, so they have become fast friends! Sully was happy to see him at her beach house!

We had the best weekend surrounded by some of our favorite people! Thanks Barbers for letting us crash your family vacay! Definitely one of our favorite summer memories!!
